All purchased items are eligible for return or reimbursement within 30 days from date of purchase. By purchasing from our store, you have agreed to these terms.
Shipping Information - Please Read Carefully
We encourage all customers to ask questions, particularly regarding shipping. While we strive to ship to almost every corner of the globe, certain regions may have restrictions, especially in Africa. To avoid any inconvenience or delays, please inquire with us before placing an order for items that may need to be shipped to countries with known restrictions or potential issues.

Discount Code Policy
Please note that discount codes must be entered at the time of purchase. Due to complications with fees on our end, we do not offer refunds or adjustments if a discount code is not applied during checkout. Once a payment is processed, we are charged fees based on the total amount, which are non-refundable for us.
We appreciate your understanding and recommend double-checking your order before finalizing your purchase to ensure any applicable discounts are applied.
Policy for Damaged Items
If you receive a damaged item, please follow these steps:
1. Document the Damage: Take a clear picture of the damaged item and send it to our email address. This email address will be provided in the shipping confirmation email sent to you after your order.
2. Refund or Replacement: If we confirm that the product is damaged due to our error, we will either issue a full refund (including shipping and handling fees) or send you a new piece of the same jewelry*. You will be allowed to keep the initially damaged piece**.
3. Intentional Damage: If the jewelry has been intentionally damaged by the customer, no refund will be issued, and you will be flagged to prevent future purchases from 9 Star Jewelry.
4. Parcel Responsibility: We take great care in packaging items and ensure they are shipped directly to the international airport. If your parcel is damaged upon receipt, we cannot be held responsible, as the fault lies with your country’s local post office. No refund will be provided in such cases.
5. Coupon Code Purchases: Items purchased using a coupon code or discount that have a small cosmetic flaw cannot be returned or refunded.
6. 30-Day Refund Policy: We do not process refunds for purchases made more than 30 days after the delivery date to prevent abuse.
* If the item is out of stock, you may experience a 30-day waiting period before the item is available for shipping again.
** Applies only to silver jewelry items without gemstones.

While we strive for perfection, the nature of handmade craftsmanship means that slight variations or tiny imperfections may occasionally occur. Return & Refund Policy
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please review our return and refund guidelines:
1. Return Period: Return the jewelry to the return address provided in your package within 15 days of receiving the item. Once we receive the package and confirm that it is in original condition, we will issue a refund for the item.
2. Non-Refundable Shipping Charges: Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable in this scenario.
3. Restocking Fee: To prevent abuse, a 25% restocking and packing fee will be deducted from the refunded amount, in addition to the non-refundable shipping cost. Returning via FedEx will incur an additional $40 fee. We encourage you to ask any questions before purchasing to avoid these charges.
4. No Reimbursement for Return Shipping: We do not cover the cost of return shipping. Customers are responsible for these charges.
5. Original Condition Requirement: The item must be returned in its original condition, unworn and unaltered.
6. Damaged Items Due to Client Negligence: Items that are worn or damaged due to client negligence cannot be returned.
7. Discounted Items: Items purchased using a coupon code or discount that have a small cosmetic flaw cannot be returned or refunded.
8. Credit Card Refund Fee: IMPORTANT! Credit card refunds will incur a 7% fee, meaning the refunded amount will be 93% of the total payment. This fee is charged by the credit card company for processing payments, exchange rate fluctuations and refunds.
9. PayPal Refunds: IMPORTANT! Refunds will be processed minus any non-refundable transaction fees imposed by PayPal - Usually 5% to 7% of the total transaction.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your purchase, please follow these steps:
1. Notification Period: Inform us within 2 hours of your purchase if you wish to cancel the order.
2. PayPal Refunds: IMPORTANT! Refunds will be processed minus any non-refundable transaction fees imposed by PayPal - Usually 5% to 7% of the total transaction.
3. Credit Card Refunds: IMPORTANT! All credit card refunds are subject to a 7% processing fee. This means the refunded amount will be 93% of the original payment. The fee is charged by the credit card company for processing the payment, exchange rate fluctuations and the refund.
We strongly encourage you to purchase wisely and ensure your decision is final to avoid incurring this charge. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Ring Exchange Policy
Ring sizes can be a little tricky with many different methods to measure ring sizes. We use the US/Canada method. Refer to http://ringsizes.co for the conversion chart.
There are two tools used most of the time to measure the sizes, one is a ring sizer, with many ring shaped metal that is used to see your ring size and a ring mandrel, a stick like metal that is used to measure the size of the ring, from the ring itself. Although there are many DIY methods you can do at home, we strongly suggest visiting a jeweler to get your actual ring size. Your ring should fit snuggly on your finger without risk of falling off. Not too tight. Not too loose. You do not want to be hurting yourself or putting too much pressure on the ring or your finger getting it on and off. It should just be able to fit over the largest part of your finger which is often the knuckle for most people. Keeping this in mind; it is important to check your ring size more than once which applies to both a simple home check or even a proper sizing in-store with a jeweler. Your fingers will swell in warmer weather and vice-versa in cold weather. Check your size on a cold day and again on a warmer day. Checking two or three times is not going too far because getting it right the first time could save you time, frustration, and money on potentially expensive resizes.
We use a certified mandrel, to check our ring sizes before sending it out. It is very important to use a proper steel mandrel, as the cheap, aluminum/stainless steel/plastic type can bend and distort ring sizes. Just like a ruler, if the measurements are not accurate, you can get a wrong ring size.
All rings that are sent out by us are personally checked to make sure that you are getting what you ordered. Due to different scales that are used by jewelers (some might have slight distortions) and improper DIY techniques, your sizes can be slightly over or under compensated by 0.5 millimeters (0.02 inches), which is almost half a ring size (US/Canada scale). If you are using a DIY method at home, with paper, thread, twist tie, rubber band, etc., it can be very inaccurate, and the compensation can be by 1-2 ring sizes.
These are our ring exchange/return policy:
- Ring sizes that we sent out can be up to 0.44 mm (0.017 inches) diameter (size of a grain of sand) up or down, we will try our level best to send you the most accurate, using our certified ring mandrel.
- If the ring does not fit, you can exchange it, but you will have to return the ring and pay for the cost of shipping the ring back to you. This cost is calculated according to the current shipping rate of that ring. We do not compensate the shipping cost that you paid, so please chose the best method to send it to us. Using an envelope will be cheaper than sending it in a box. Please refer to our exchange policy for more details.
- We will only send out the exchange ring, once the original ring is shipped back to us, or if you can provide us with a tracking number. In some cases, we will have to consider if there is any damage done to the original ring and wait for the ring to arrive first before sending the exchange ring. Please refer to our policy about returning damaged items for more details.
- If by some circumstances, we have sent a ring that is more or less in size than what is mentioned in 1., please give us a prove using a mandrel and a picture taken showing us the size of the ring on a mandrel. If we see that it was our fault, we will send you a new ring with no extra cost, but this is up to our discretion. A picture of your ring is usually taken before sending it. If a jeweler uses a wrong sized ring mandrel that defers from our standard sizes, it will not count towards the free, new ring.

- If you are unsure about your ring sizes, please contact us before purchasing as once you purchase a ring, our policy comes into effect. Refer to our order cancelation policy for more details.
- Being polite and courteous will go a long way, and we will definitely reciprocate.
